SSIET Patti in association with NIIT Limited Gurugram organized a seminar on 25 Mrch 2022 at SSIET Campus. The college students needs technology updates and needs to understand the career opportunities in IT industries. Mr. Jagjit Singh Bedi (Business Development Manager) was the resource person of this program.

Shaheedi Divas 23 March,2022

SSIET, Patti staff members along with students paid tribute to the immortal sons of Mother India, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru on Martyrs' Day on 23 March,2022. Dr. Narendra Kumar in his address advocated that their passion to die for the motherland will always inspire the countrymen in future too.

Women Day Celebration 8th March,2022

SSIET Patti celebrated International Women Day by plantation of saplings in college campus along with staff members and Students. After that sweets were distributed among staff members and students. Principal said a woman efficiently plays the ever changing role of a daughter, wife, mother, entrepreneur, builder and moulder of a nation’s destiny.

Lohri Celebration 2022

Lohri festival was celebrated with exuberance and fanfare at Shiv SSIET, Patti on 13th Jan,2022. Dr. Rajesh Bhardwaj, M.D., SBS Group, Dr. Mridula Bhardwaj, Exe. M.D, Ms. Ishata Bhardwaj C.E.O. and Mr. Satyam Bhardwaj, Director along with all teachers enjoyed the festive event. Groundnuts and sweets were distributed among all the members.

Placement Drive at SSIET Patti

SSIET Patti organized Campus Placement drive for the students of B.Tech CSE, ECE,CE & ME by Agile future Ltd. & Impulse private limited companies on 15/12/2021. First of all, in Pre Placement talk company officials shared the information to the students regarding the Company Profile, Job Responsibilities and Salary packages for the various roles then group discussion was being conducted out of which 25 students were selected for the personal interview. 6 students were selected by Agile future Ltd. and 17 students were selected by Impulse private Ltd. Management, Principal and Staff members congratulates students on their achievements.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a Industrial Visit to BSNL(Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited), Patti on 22/12/2021 for final year students. The students are taken around various labs like the Mobile Lab, Broadband lab, IT & Networking Lab, Optical Fiber Systems Lab, NGN Lab etc. The Students are given an overview of the Telecom systems and how Voice and Data are carried in a Telephone Network. The Industrial Visit to BSNL was highly beneficial to the students in understanding the concepts of telecommunications and Networking Principles.

Technical Workshop Nov 18, 2021

A one day WORKSHOP on Nov.18, 2021 on " Recent Trends in Engineering" was organized by SSIET Patti on 18th November 2021 for B.Tech(ECE/CE/CSE/ME) Students. Mr. Devashish Kumar, founder Codriod Hub Pvt Ltd. was the resource person for this program.

Tree Plantation Program

SSIET Patti staff members & Students organized a Tree Plantation program in college campus on 8th March, 2022 to celebrate the women’s day and birthday of our honorable executive M.D. Dr. Mridula Bhardwaj. She is a role model for all the institutions. She has taken up an ambitious plan to save the environment by planting trees.

Inter-Department Debate Competition

SSIET, Patti organized an Inter-Department Debate competition for newly admitted students of all stream on 22/09/2021.The students from each department (CSE/ME/ECE/CE) participated with great enthusiasm. Ms. Shakshi, Anupreet and Ms Shivani secure first, second and third positions respectively. The event was co-ordinated by Er.Ashish Chandel and Er. Parwinder Kaur.

Cricket Match at college

SSIET Patti organized a cricket match in the college ground on 24/09/2021.The students from different departments participated enthusiastically in this match. Based on his performance Mr. Subodh Raj from mechanical engineering was declared as Man of the Match. The event was successful as it not only brought together students of all the departments but also brought out fair play spirit among all.

Group Discussion on topic "Online Learning and Higher Education Scenario in India"

ECE Department organized a Group Discussion on topic " online Learning and Higher Education Scenario in India" among the students on 24/09/2021 of all branches to see and evaluate their Thinking skills, listening abilities and how they are communicate their thoughts. The main theme of the event was to enrich knowledge. Dr. Gurbhej Singh(Principal SSIET), Dr. Narendra Kumar(HOD ME Dept.), Er. Ashish Chandel (HOD ECE Dept.) along with Staff members were Present.

114th Birth Anniversary of Shaheed_Bhagat Singh

114th Birth Anniversary of Shaheed_Bhagat_Singh was celebrated by SSIET Patti on 28/09/2021. A floral tribute was paid to the Son of soil who Sacrifice his life at very tender age by Dr. Mridula Bhardwaj(Executive Managing Director), Mr. Satyam Bhardwaj(Director) of SBS Group along with SSIET Principal, Staff members & Students. Along with this a "Tree Plantation" Campaign was conducted in college Campus.

Industrial Visit at Central Institute of Hand Tools (MSME Tool room), Jalandhar

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was organized one day Industrial Visit at Central Institute of Hand Tools(MSME Tool room), Jalandhar on 29/09/2021 for 2nd,3rd and 4th year B.Tech Students to give them Practical Knowledge in Manufacturing processes and Design courses. More than 25 Students were accompanied by three Faculty members Dr. Narendra Kumar(HOD ME), Er. Ashish chandel (Asst. Professor ECE Dept.) & Er. Parwinder Kaur (Asst. Professor CSE Dept.). Central Institute of Hand Tools is a premier organization responsible for the development of Hand Tool Industry in the country. The institute focuses on imparting Engineering Education in various skill development courses that are in great demand in the industries for product design & Development, CAD/CAM, CNC programming & machining, mechatronics/ automation with PLC, welding and quality control etc. It also provides services to the Engineering industries in various areas such as tool room, heat treatment, testing and quality control. All Students interacted with the industrial personnel of different workshops and raised queries related to the procedures of working the conventional, non-conventional machines, quality control equipments etc.. Students felt enthusiastic and motivated as they felt that their academic curriculum is directly linked to the industry. Also, it lets students know things practically through interaction and working methods.

Aptitude Test

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized an Aptitude Test on 30/09/2021 for the students of all streams. The test provided a unique & exciting platform for the students to encourage their thinking skills and to showcase their knowledge & prepare themselves for future endeavors. The students showed a lot of enthusiasm & participated actively.
